(Clever Title about Writing)
First of all, I got a couple of pictures from the Foothills PRINCESS AND THE PEA the other day ...
Like I said, it's a pretty good show. Closing on Saturday.
Also, I got some nice news today. My friend Glenn Padnick has spoken with Kevin Bright, one of the creators of "Friends" and the only one of the three (Marta Kauffman and David Crane being the others) who is moving on to "Joey." Glenn sent him my "Friends" spec ... I don't think there's a promise he'll read it, but hey, it's there.
I also sent off my "help out a fellow Brandeis alum" letters to Kauffman and Crane (ever wonder why Ross's British wife was named "Waltham"?). Who knows if that'll garner anything, but I'm coming at them from all angles.
'Course, then my issue of Entertainment Weekly arrived with the cover story "Is the Sitcom Dead?"
The lord giveth ...
Oh, P.S.: There'll be a new production of CASEY AT THE BAT at Highland Middle School in Barberton, OH in May. That's a suburb of Akron. That's right, this is the big time, baby ... AKRON!
